Storm Racer stands out from other waterslides with its unique racing concept. Up to eight people can ride together in separate lanes, creating a competitive atmosphere. The highlight of the ride is a one-of-a-kind bowl where riders experience intense G-forces. To enhance the waiting experience for those in the queue, Ozturk has designed a start tower that allows spectators to watch the riders in the bowl.
What sets Storm Racer apart is its integration of technology and interactive features. The slide incorporates a "Water splash" feature that sprays water on the rafts as they reach certain points in the ride, adding an element of surprise and excitement. Sensors track the rafts and display results such as the highest points reached and the biggest splash, adding a competitive element to the ride.
Not only does Storm Racer offer an exhilarating sliding experience, but it also boasts a streamlined design and unique geometry. The slide is manufactured using the latest L-Resin Transfer Molding (L-RTM) technology, which ensures a shiny, smooth surface that is visually appealing to spectators. The use of L-RTM also results in stronger yet lighter waterslides that are easy to install and maintain.
The dimensions of Storm Racer are 70000mm x 70000mm x 24000mm, making it a prominent feature in any waterpark. The project, which started in January 2015, was completed in July 2016 and will be introduced to the public at the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2016 in Orlando, Florida.
Storm Racer has already gained recognition in the industry, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Sporting Goods, Fitness, and Recreation Equipment Design category in 2017. This prestigious award acknowledges the design's practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements.
With its unique concept, interactive features, and cutting-edge technology, Storm Racer is set to revolutionize the waterslide experience. Get ready to embark on an adrenaline-pumping race with your family and friends!
